Why are fluoropolymers
safe?

Fluoropolymers have been proven safe during their intended use phase. Let’s find out more about the safety of fluoropolymers and the “Polymer of Low Concern” (PLC) criteria.

Why are fluoropolymers irreplaceable?

Fluoropolymers present a unique combination of properties that makes them irreplaceable for several critical applications. Find out more

What are fluoropolymers?

Fluoropolymers are a distinct subset of fluorinated polymers. They are polymers with fluorine atoms directly attached to their carbon-only backbone.

With their unique physico-chemical properties, these specialty plastics are virtually chemically inert, non-wetting, non-stick, and highly resistant to temperature, fire and weather. Irreplaceable in many applications, their unique properties cannot be guaranteed by other polymers. Find out more
